Jamaican tähti - Jamaican star

Löysin kangaskassin pohjalta pari vuotta sitten ostamani vihreäpohjaisen tähtikuvioisen trikoon. Muistan ostaneeni sen johonkin tiettyyn projektiin, mutten muista yhtään mihin. Nyt tiesin kuitenkin heti, mitä siitä syntyisi: tunika Burdan jo kerran ommellulla kaavalla, mutta nyt koossa 128 cm.

Aiemmalla kerralla ompelin suoraan mallin Girl's long top, mutta tällä kertaa halusin siihen pitkät hihat saman mekon eri versiosta, Girl's High-Lo Tunic. 

Tytär halusi ehdottomasti yhdistää trikooseen keltaisen resorin. Mielestäni tuo muistuttaa kovasti Jamaican värejä, mutta menköön yleisön pyynnöstä. Onhan tuo raikas yhdistelmä.

I found this star jersey from my stash. I have bought it maybe a year ago for some specific project but I just couldn't remember what that was. But now I knew right away what to do of it: Long sleeve tunic using the same pattern than here. The size is 128 cm.

I combined two Burda's patterns. Last time I made Girl's long top, but this time I wanted long sleeves and I used Girl's High-Lo Tunic version's extra long sleeves here. 

My daughter wanted definetly to combain yellow ribbing for this fabric. I think it reminds a lot of Jamaica's colours... But she is happy and that is very nice combination I have to admit.
